handmade tobacco pipes

about me

Long before I began smoking a pipe, I was drawn to the hobby: I enjoyed the smell of burning leaf and the general calmness of pipe smokers. I trained as a carpenter and spent years as a furniture designer, skills that set the foundation for my dream to make pipes.

I strive to make pipes that are unique, drawn from nature and everyday objects, but that also work as they should: A chair is made for sitting, a pipe for smoking effortlessly.

Enjoy exploring my work, and don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Sketching is essential to my creative process. I often spend hours in the library studying design and architecture masters for inspiration. Even a quick drawing helps me capture concepts and each of my pipes includes the original sketch used for its design.
